Lok Lok King on Wheels

Our date night last Friday evening was a quick dash to Pavillion as hubby wanted to check out the new Typo by Cotton On to purchase some office desk accessories.

Thank goodness we dropped off our toddler at the nanny's considering that the outlet was full of awesome stuff to look at, not to mention little trinkets and fragile stuff too!

We spent close to an hour inside the shop, clearly excited like how little kids would be in a candy shop, and hubby splurged on a few items.

We then decided to sit down for coffee but it was just packed everywhere in Pavillion!

We decided to get out of Pavillion and was met with a bumper to bumper crawl as cars were heading out of the car park.

Oooppsss, wrong timing, wrong day!

Anyhoo, we just went with the flow and headed straight to Ampang Point.

We initially wanted to land ourselves in Coffee Bean, but ... no empty tables!

THEN ... hubby suggested this ... Lok Lok King on Wheels.

The van was parked right in front of ... can't remember which bank ... but they've set up chairs/tables/tissue boxes for the customers' convenience.

I must admit, it was my first time so I was clueless as to how we go about choosing the food.

Apparently, all you needed to do was to choose whichever one you desire and tell them to either steam OR fry OR grill.

See the guy with the smiley face? He's one of those operating this mobile kiosk, super friendly too!

Spoilt for choice, eh?

On each end of the stick, they've placed some color coded stickers, must be the price of each different selection.

You can see the green colored tags on these sticks.

This was what we had ... yeah, I went to Coffee Bean for my ice-blended fix :D

We had also packed some for the nanny so the total bill came up to RM 25.

Super cheap and super yummy food ... to top it all off, super friendly service!

My entire experience, only if it was for a couple of hours and we didn't dine at any fancy restaurants ... for me, it was a perfect date night! ;)

Thank you, dear beloved hubby!
