Hubby added our own DIY blackboard (floor to ceiling) which covers one part of the wall in our dining area.
Being the creative person he is, he purchased the board from a hardware shop nearby and we actually had to ask them to send it over to our house via a lorry considering the huge size.
Hubby called up a friend to come over and help set it up as they needed to also apply paint on the board.
I believe they painted the board twice.
They let it dry first and his friend who has the tools drilled our wall to hang the blackboard.
Our toddler was super excited and couldn't wait to draw on the board.
Of course, cleaning it thereafter requires a pail of water and a washcloth and persistent scrubbing ... phew!
Nevertheless, it keeps the little one entertained ... it's all worth it!
p/s: No, our 2-yo toddler did not draw the elephant ... Daddy drew it for her :) ... since she gets excited seeing an "ewepon"
