Best in the World Rojak! According to Super Simple SAHM :D

You have NO IDEA how badly I've been wanting to update this BEST IN THE WORLD ROJAK ... according to me :D

Their rojak concoction is PERFECT, the sauce is thick and not runny.

You can ask for additional toppings / kueh / mee, they will willingly oblige to your request.

They have repeat customers who often call them on their mobile phone, just to check if they're available at their spot!

Hubby's ROJAK MEE
Hubby loves rojak mee, whereas I'm more of the kueh person, will request for additional crispy stuff.

They can easily be found in SS21 Damansara Uptown on weekdays and weekends (suggest you call in first to confirm availability).

Weekdays are a nightmare in terms of parking spot so if you happen to be around, you can park by the roadside and they'll let you enjoy your rojak in your car with the a/c blasting, no problem! :D

They have stools available but not that many, however, customers come and go quite fast, as their service is super fast too!

THEIR PERMANENT SPOT!

If you're not familiar with the area, just find PAPPA RICH, they're just nearby ;)

THE CENDOL
Their cendol is hubby's must-have after he has finished a plate of rojak mee.

More pictures of the nearest landmark:

It's opposite the car workshop, same row as WONDERMILK

This was taken on a Sunday, so you can see that there's ample parking spots :)

No idea why THIS ad is in the picture, but ... it's nearby the round-about before the mosque.

HELLO UNCLE! :D
We did ask their permission to take pics of the van, the equipment and of course, the respective owners :D

Like seriously, the rojak is REALLY REALLY good! :D

Jaya One @ Jalan Universiti, Petaling Jaya

A long overdue post!

This was supposed to be updated the same day I had posted an entry of The School and Pop by Jaya One.

However, hubby & I have been SUPER DUPER busy the past week, I've only managed to update this in the wee hours of the morning today!

Thank goodness hubby managed to process these pictures he took at Jaya One for your viewing pleasure :D

To start off, after we went cruising around Pop by Jaya One at The School, we stepped out of The School to see what else is in the area.

The School's Main Entrance

Not sure what this is, hubby thought it was a stage of some sort ... hehehe no idea, I initially thought it was a fountain.

The Residences above The School

The lobby / drop-off area of The School

The Lift Lobby
After walking past the main entrance, we saw this on our right:

The Postcode (right next to Pop by Jaya One @ The School)

We then walked through a pathway leading to an array of cafes & restaurants:

Jaya One is like a mini-town on its own! :)

Since we came here on a Sunday, quite a number of the cafes / restaurants were closed, unfortunately.

See that red awning? That's Nando's ... :)

What I really like about Jaya One is that it is not congested over the weekend as opposed to shopping malls within Klang Valley.

Particularly if you're not looking for a specific brand / cafe / restaurant to go to, I'd rather come here on weekends if I just want to dine out with the family or hang out with my girlfriends.

Too bad it's quite a distance from where I live ... :(

But Jaya One has GREAT potential to be THE PLACE to go to on a weekend, what with the retail outlet, Pop by Jaya One housed at The School.

In comparison to going to your normal bazaars, check out this place for your next trip as there's ample parking (basement) with facilities such as the washroom, praying room and eateries within a walking distance.
