Being ME Conference 2013

This is the first time where I've made a plan to attend an event 2 months in advance!

(Well, this would be second to my wedding ... or maybe third after my daughter's 1-year birthday bash?)

My girlfriend reminded me of the discounted ticket price offer (RM 99) which would end today.

Hereafter, tickets would be sold at a normal price of RM 150 per person.

I immediately sent a text to dear hubby to seek his permission and he immediately said "Sure, go ahead" and added that I needn't worry about our toddler as he would be around that day.

The most super sweet and loving hubby also called up a hotel nearby PICC and made reservations for us to spend the night in Putrajaya.

This would make it convenient for him to send me to the venue and he can go his merry way to spend the day with our toddler.

Been a long time since I last attended such a conference.

House Chore Made Easy

I admit that I'm not a fan of doing the "heavy" house chores, you know, the ones which you don't do daily nor weekly, for example, cleaning the fans, wiping the windows, washing the balcony and wiping down the door grille, to name a few.

So when beloved hubby bought this stool last year, it was SUCH a blessing for me who's not fond of using ladders nor chairs to finish the chores.

The stool which costs approximately MYR 100 doubles up as a stool and a ladder.

In the event you need to take down additional plates from the kitchen cabinet for your guests when you're hosting a gathering, at least you can be seen taking down the plates in style hehehehe

This stool is super easy to use and mobile too as it isn't easy to clean the house with a 22-month-old child following you closely around.

Turns into a ladder!

Toddler Milestone at 22-months old

Our is still breastfeeding at 22-months old, however, I would top-up with formula (Sustagen Junior 1+).

She'd normally consume 150 ml formula after breakfast and another 150 ml after lunch which she won't finish until later in the evening.

One thing I consider as an achievement would be her ability to sleep on her own without clinging onto me!

Even when she wakes up, she won't cry and goes her merry way searching for the iPad to play cartoons or play with her toys.

She looks forward to having her shower, especially with Daddy, as he'll bring her to the bathtub so she gets to play with the bubble bath.

She loves to go into the pool too!

After taking her bath, when I lay her down on her changing table, she will extend both arms and hug me, "I love you, Ummi" ... (aaawwwww!!!!!)

Sometimes, without any warning, she'll hug me while she's playing or hug my leg when I'm doing something and say, "I love you, Ummi" ... (aaaaaaawwwwwww!!!!!)

She is still picky with her food (sigh) and I've only started to make my own tortilla wraps (I had NO IDEA it was super easy!) to add on to her menu (who says pleasing toddlers ain't tough?).

She understands basic instructions and she's able to verbalize her needs (well, most of the time) and if her needs aren't met IMMEDIATELY, she tends to cry / repeat her request.

Beloved hubby and I are both waiting to see if she'll hit the "Terrible Two" milestone (which we're hoping and praying she won't!) as a colleague of ours keep telling us, "You wait lar, when she turns two, see how she'll turn your life upside down and throw tantrums!"

JKids @ Tropicana City Mall

Visited JKids at Tropicana City Mall and am extremely happy that the area is MUCH BIGGER than the one in Publika!

I didn't mind paying RM 20 (weekdays) or RM 30 (weekends).

It is located on the 3rd floor.

I love the mall's simple layout, not confusing such as One Utama or Sunway Pyramid! (I always struggle to find my way around these huge malls!)

Facilities such as the surau and the baby changing rooms are nearby as they are located on the same floor.

If you would like a more comfortable baby room (with 3 individual nursing rooms + a washroom for adults), there is one on the second floor where a female security guard is stationed to ensure that you can nurse in peace without worrying if some irresponsible male pervert would walk in! (I didn't manage to capture any pictures of the baby room, though, but trust me, it's super clean and spacious).

Parking was cheap too! RM 6!

Lil' Rainbow and I reached the place around 1pm++ and we stayed on until 9pm++ as we waited for Daddy to finish work around 5pm to have dinner and we continued to play a little after.

I foresee us frequenting this place often as it's near Daddy's workplace and we could perhaps catch Daddy for lunch if he ain't too busy (",)
