Feeka Coffee Roasters, KL

The thought of going out early on a Sunday morning (9am to be exact) to grab breakfast at a potentially nice cafe (since it would be the first time checking it out) is a SUPER AWESOME feeling!

No traffic in KL THIS early in the morning!

Hubby set the GPS (just so we don't get lost along the way as I tend to be very moody if I don't get my morning coffee ... FAST!) as we made our merry way to Feeka Coffee Roasters.

As we reached the place, I was impressed that it was a nice looking joint where their next-door neighbors are Palate Palette and No Black Tie.

Since it was early on a Sunday morning, the cafe was empty so hubby had the luxury to snap away and capture great photos ... for this blog hehehehe

The entrance

Stepping into the cafe, you'll be greeted by warm smiles from the friendly baristas AND you are able to immediately see their generous spread of cakes and pastries that will definitely entice your tastebuds!

Spoilt for choice
The cafe was spacious with gorgeous natural sunlight illuminating throughout the cafe and it was also spotlessly clean!

Whilst you try to browse through their menu, to order breakfast, you just can't stop glancing at their cakes and pastries counter ... the range of items available look so tempting and scrumptious ... you get side-tracked most of the time from placing your order. :)

Once you've decided what you want, place your orders at the counter and proceed with the payment. You'll receive a number for your order.

We chose to sit by the window as we couldn't resist the beautiful natural sunlight streaming through the windows where its rays bounced off the gorgeous furniture in the cafe.

Ok, I admit that for some reason (I-don't-know-why) I'm always famished in the mornings, particularly breakfast!

Feeka's Big Breakfast RM 20

I love this!

You can't really see but underneath the eggs are perfectly seasoned & sauteed mushrooms, potatoes and beef bacon. :)

Hubby and I both ordered their big breakfast.

You can taste that they had sufficient salt and seasonings in the dish and it was just perfect.

As I was very happy with my breakfast, I conveyed my gratitude to the chef via the barista.

He acknowledged my compliment, thanked me and proceeded to go to the kitchen.

Once he came back out, he conveyed that the chef recommended I try their French Toast the next time around.

The smiling chef :) ... THANK YOU, CHEF!

To me, that personal touch in terms of acknowledging a customer's compliment and returning with a recommendation is definitely worth plus points!

I foresee future trips to this cafe, for sure!

Cafe Latte RM 10
My.Latte.Was.PERFECTLY. Served!

Iced Mocha RM 13

We ordered Butter Croissant (RM 4) for our toddler and she ate half as she was busy playing with the flower in the small flower pot (as per picture above).

The bill came up to RM 67.00

Cappuccino RM 10 - Smooth and creamy
As I shared with hubby that my latte was perfect, he ordered their Cappuccino.

We love their coffee art too!

Of course, our toddler couldn't resist herself and wanted to stir the coffee for Daddy ... the coffee art was gone in an instant ... hubby managed to take a quick snap of the Cappuccino above. :)

House Blend is always the right choice for the masses

Love the wall's natural discoloration

I love the packaging, simple yet elegant

For those who don't fancy coffee, check out their tea selection and juices below :)

Feeka Coffee Roasters also has an upper level (the washroom is also on this level) and the ceiling windows produce GREAT natural lighting!

The view

The upper level is not open to the public as yet considering that they haven't furnished this floor with tables and chairs.

Since the cafe is still new, they're waiting to see how well the response is before going ahead with the furnishing.

BUT if you wish to take great photos, you're more than welcome to go upstairs (this was even recommended by the barista when he saw hubby taking photos of the cafe).

The view of the bar from the upper level

Feeka Coffee Roasters take great pride of their coffee as they source their coffee beans from the Kabiru-Ini Coffee Factory in Kenya, as quoted on their FB page:

"At Feeka, we source for quality coffee by spending time in the countries where coffee is grown. We make it a point to travel to the coffee farms to taste and compare the the variety of beans and handpick the best for Feeka. We also insist on getting to know the farmers whom we work with. We care also to understand the entire coffee bean production process and all the systems that surround it.

This is how we bring the best coffee beans of the year to you at Feeka."

Their passion to source great coffee beans and provide good coffee clearly shows in the drinks that they brew.

Our verdict?

We will definitely return!!!

p/s: We left them a 'Thank you' note for their wonderful service and good coffee & food. :)
