I just LOVE Kota Kinabalu (KK)!
Probably because I first arrived in KK years ago when hubby and I spent our honeymoon and I instantly fell in love with the beach, the seafood and the friendly & warm people.
We spent our holiday in KK recently and found out about the Muffinz Deli Cafe located at The Magellan Sutera Resort.
To locate the cafe, just look for the swimming pool and children's playground.
We went there for dinner so we could easily locate the brightly lit cafe. :)
Come with me whilst I show you around.
Take a step inside, you'll be greeted by this wonderful splash of vibrant colors and our 3-yo toddler instantly got so excited as she went running around the cafe!
Hubby and I both LOVE the place!
We love the fact that the owners / designers had spent a fair amount of time thinking about the intricate details to design this place.
Loving this pillar in particular where they've installed a table around it and colorful chairs just for kids!
Photos of kids below makes the cafe more kid-friendly and you just feel like you're hanging out at a friend's place (your friends with kids, that is :D ).
They also have a pool-table below and the seating arrangement in this corner is slightly different as it reminds me of an All-American diner which I'd normally see in the movies.
Checking out the menu at their counter, the price range is affordable and we practically ordered quite a lot for the 3 of us :D
The food tasted GREAT!
We had a cheesecake, sandwich, a savory pie, Nutella Crepe and chocolate milkshake.
Whilst we were waiting for our food to arrive, hubby and our toddler went touring the cafe.

This space is just PERFECT for a private birthday party!

When we are in KK, we'd definitely return to Muffinz, for sure!
