Dutch Lady Kid

Assalamualaikum!

The small packaging for Dutch Lady's milk is a brilliant idea.

They offer Dutch Lady Kid and Dutch Lady School in full cream, chocolate or strawberry.

Our lil' tot has been enjoying the Dutch Lady Kid chocolate milk for some time now.

It all started when she was 2 years old.

We were out and about, ran out of formula so we couldn't give her the milk bottle.

Unfortunately, I wasn't in the position to breastfeed her at the time.

So we decided to buy her a small pack of full cream milk (we even poured the milk into her milk bottle so she wouldn't notice the difference ... hahaha)

Oh my goodness, she didn't like it and refused it. (she's probably saying "My parents think I can't tell the difference? So smart!" and smirks)

Somehow, it got her mind off milk for awhile (as she was busy nibbling the bottle) until we reached home and I managed to breastfeed her properly.

The milk we bought? Daddy had to finish it.

We tried our luck by getting her the strawberry flavour the next time around.

Guess what?

She loved it!

So we were like, ok let's buy a whole pack! (eager beaver parents here)

Needless to say, the whole pack was finished off by Daddy and Ummi since our tot wasn't at all interested. *sigh*

We then decided for her to try the chocolate flavour, since even if she can't finish it, Ummi will be more than happy to do so hehehehe

Our tot was SOOOOOO excited to the Disney version and she'd only look for the ones with Mickey on it.

Not Donald. Not Daisy. Not Minnie.

It HAS to be Mickey *another sigh*

I tell you, it took a LOT of persuasion from our end so that she'd look BEYOND Mickey and just enjoy her chocolate milk. :D

Thankfully, it worked.

She loves the Dutch Lady Kid packs as it's super convenient.

Having them at breakfast makes it easy as I know she'll definitely be able to finish it.

We can even pack one box to-go into her backpack whenever we go out.

Or the times when she just wants to snack or waiting for me to prepare her meal, I'd give her the milk.

Talk about convenience and how easy it is for tots to hold the small packs.

Good thinking! :)
