Over the moon, date night with beloved hubby ... :)
When hubby got home from work, I told hubby about my craving for a slice of cake and coffee.
He immediately asked if I wanted to head out, just us.
Of course, I immediately agreed. :D :D :D
Hubby quickly picked up his mobile and dialed the number of our toddler's nanny.
She was available that evening to look after our toddler so she was OK to have us drop our toddler at her house for a couple of hours.
We dashed to get ready and head out the door.
Our toddler was of course happy to see her nanny and the hubby, calling them Nenek and Atuk respectively.
As we were about to leave, the nanny's hubby carried our toddler to the door, waving goodbye to us.
He had an inkling that she would burst into tears so hurriedly told her that he would bring her to the nearby shop and buy toys.
Yes, he dotes her as if she was his own grandchild.
We went our merry way and initially decided on either Coffee Bean or Starbucks.
Hubby had a better plan, proposed Delicious instead.
We drove to the outlet at Dua Residency and was blessed with smooth traffic despite it being a Friday night.
It has been AGES since the last time we set foot in Delicious as we were welcomed with an entirely refurbished interior!
It looked more sophisticated.
We opted for the smoking area as it was cordoned off from the crowd, quieter and there wasn't anyone in the area.
Furthermore, the band was playing and the ambience was more romantic in the smoking section.
It was a record-breaking evening as hubby went without checking his mobile phone (AT ALL!) for 1 1/2 hours!
Which wife isn't happy? :)
I obviously felt special as his attention was purely on me .... well, I guess for him too considering that the little one isn't around to distract us.
Regardless, we did miss our little one, hence, hastily left the cafe so that we could see her before she falls asleep.
