A new week has started and I'm crossing my fingers that our toddler wouldn't have an episode like the one she had last week.
Last week it was full of tears from our toddler as she kept crying out for Daddy, obviously missing him after he had taken a 2-week off from work to celebrate Aidilfitri and go on a holiday with us.
Yesterday, hubby said to her "Daddy will be going to work tomorrow and when I come back, we'll play, OK?"
She replied "OK"
This morning when she was bf, hubby stepped out from the showers and she quickly sat up on bed with sleepy eyes.
She worked hard to shake off her drowsiness and walked right up to Daddy who said "Good morning!" and she replied instantly.
As she followed him around to get ready for work and grabbed his stuff for him, hubby managed to prepare formula milk for her and switched on the TV before he headed out.
Our toddler came back into the room and snuggled up to me, obviously happy as she was able to see Daddy.
I then asked her to hit the showers and clipped her nails too.
She was given the freedom to choose her outfit for today.
We then went into the kitchen and prepared cheese omelette together, with an English muffin on the side.
After breakfast, she went to the computer to play some games on PBS KIDS
The games are educational and it's good to see that she's no longer crying out for Daddy. :)
We'll see how the day goes but I'm pretty sure that she's back to her normal happy self.
